The Ferrari 250 TR/58 n.14 is the winning car of the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1958. The Maranello manufacturer after testing the car in 1957, with the new year tried to stop the excessive power of the Jaguar thanks to updates made by Sergio Scaglietti.

The first Testa Rossa, fitted with a 180bhp four-cylinder engine and called the 500, was introduced in 1956, two years after the most recent Ferrari victory at La Sarthe.
